Montgomery College, located just north of Washington, D.C. in Maryland, seeks a dynamic candidate for the full-time Assistant General Counsel in the Office of General Counsel. This is a non-bargaining, exempt, grade 37, exempt position. The position is located at the Central Services Campus in Rockville, Maryland. This eligibility is subject to change based on the needs of the unit.
The Office of General Counsel provides legal representation, advice and counsel in a variety of substantive areas of laws affecting the College. This position will focus primarily on business and transactions, including construction, data security, environmental health and safety, finance, grants, information technology, insurance, intellectual property, land use, leases, maintenance agreements, procurement, public-private partnerships, real estate, regulatory compliance, risk management and tax.

Hiring Range: $114,539 – $157,505 annually. Initial salary placement is based on candidate experience and internal equity. The maximum salary for this position is $200,472. Please include a complete resume including all relevant and related work experience.
