Description

As an Assistant General Counsel for Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in providing strategic legal advice and support to our business units and corporate functions. Your expertise in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and agreements will be instrumental in driving our success. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing legal risks, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, and handling legal disputes and litigation matters.

You will report directly to our [title] and you’ll work out of our Prague location on a Hybrid work schedule.

Overall, as an Assistant General Counsel your contributions will ensure that Honeywell operates ethically, legally, and with integrity, allowing the company to continue its mission of creating innovative solutions that improve the quality of life for people worldwide.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee legal operations and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Develop and implement legal strategies to protect the companys interests and mitigate risks
  • Review and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents
  • Provide legal advice and support to internal stakeholders on various legal matters
  • Manage external legal counsel and collaborate with crossfunctional teams


Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Juris Doctor (JD)
  • 8+ years of experience practicing law
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
