ResponsibilitiesYour Responsibilities
- Independently review and draft contracts for Verisk entities in Germany and Sweden.
- Advise and support business units in negotiating international agreements.
- Monitor developments in data protection law (including GDPR and DORA) and assess their implications for the company.
- Analyze and document legislative changes in German and EU data protection law.
- Contribute to the adaptation and enhancement of the global data protection framework to meet local requirements.
- Review and update local privacy policies and compliance practices.
- Support the German and Swedish Data Protection Officers in legal assessments and documentation.
QualificationsYour Profile
- Fully qualified lawyer in Germany (1st and 2nd state examination).
- Admitted to practice law in Germany.
- At least 2 years of relevant post-qualification experience in contract and data protection law, ideally within a law firm or an in-house legal department.
- Excellent command of German and English, both written and spoken.
- Strong expertise in contract law and data protection (GDPR, DORA).
- Exceptional legal drafting, analytical and communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and document management systems.
- Highly organized, precise, and capable of working independently on complex matters.
- Business-minded with the ability to balance legal risks and operational needs.
- Strong interpersonal skills and experience working collaboratively in international and virtual teams.
