About Street Group
Street Group is one of the fastest-growing PropTech companies in the UK. We want to be the leading creator of delightful experiences for everybody involved in buying, selling, renting and letting property, regardless of their involvement, to improve the industry for everybody by elevating UK Estate Agencies through world-class technology.
Legal support has become a genuine growth lever for us. As enterprise deals grow in size and complexity, the speed and consistency with which we negotiate contracts directly affect our revenue velocity. We’ve relied on external counsel until now, but we’re ready to bring that capability in-house.
This is a newly created, embedded part-time role - 3 days a week - for a commercially minded solicitor who understands the SaaS world. You’ll have real impact from day one: unblocking deals, building the legal infrastructure we’ll rely on for years, and working closely with the founders and sales leadership.
What You'll Do
Draft, review, and negotiate enterprise customer contracts, supplier agreements, and NDAs
Maintain and update our T&Cs, Data Processing Agreements, and privacy policies
Build and own a contract playbook and clause library that Sales can use independently
Provide day-to-day legal guidance to the Sales and Operations teams, particularly on commercial risk trade-offs
Support enterprise client onboarding and contract processes
Manage external counsel relationships for specialist matters (corporate, disputes, complex IP)
Help shape our legal risk appetite as we scale
Who We're Looking For
You’re a qualified solicitor in England & Wales with 5–8 PQE in commercial or technology law
You have solid experience with SaaS agreements, enterprise contracts, and GDPR/UK GDPR compliance
A practical, commercial mindset - you know when to hold firm and when to get the deal done
You’re comfortable working autonomously in a fast-moving environment with limited hand-holding
You’re a strong communicator who can translate legal risk into plain language for non-lawyers
Bonus Points
Previous in-house experience at a tech or SaaS company
Hands-on experience building contract templates and playbooks from scratch
Familiarity with enterprise procurement processes and buying-side contract positions

Research has shown that women tend to rule themselves out of applying for jobs unless they meet 100% of the requirements. If you fall into that category and were about to rule yourself out based on the above criteria; please consider applying anyway. We'd love to see your application!
Salary
£55,000-£65,000 FTE pro-rata, dependent on experience. However, sometimes the perfect person is far more or less experienced than we anticipated. In these situations, planned ranges go out the window. If you think that might be the case, please apply and just let us know.
We care deeply about helping the tech industry become a more inclusive and diverse place and we work hard to lead by example. We are committed to Equal Employment Opportunity through attracting and retaining a complementary team of employees and building an inclusive environment for all. A note on using AI in your job application
As a fast-moving and rapidly evolving tech company, we embrace the advantages of AI and encourage its use throughout our application process. However, our goal is to get to know and hire the authentic you - your skills, experience, and values. We don’t want to hire an AI-generated version of you. We consider AI to be a valuable tool, not something that should overshadow you as an individual.
