We’re looking for a Commercial Counsel to join our dynamic global Legal Team and help build the legal foundations for our next stage of growth. This is an exciting opportunity to work across commercial, product, and regulatory matters at a fast-scaling, pre-IPO SaaS company that’s redefining the hospitality industry.
You’ll act as a trusted advisor to teams across Sales, Product, Operations, and Compliance—negotiating complex SaaS and technology agreements, shaping product compliance, and driving scalable legal processes that keep pace with our innovation.
✅ Your mission, should you choose to accept it:
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial and technology agreements, including SaaS, licensing, partnership, and data processing contracts.
- Partner with Sales and Deal Desk to enable smooth, business-focused deal execution.
- Lead the revamp of contract templates and playbooks, supporting scalable operations and CLM tool implementation.
- Provide legal guidance on product launches, integrations, and marketplace features, ensuring compliance with relevant EU and UK regulations (Data Act, AI Act, consumer, and competition laws).
- Advise on intellectual property and competition matters, ensuring appropriate protections and risk management.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, R&D, Compliance, and Legal teams to align on strategy, mitigate risks, and support business goals.
- Act as a proactive legal partner, offering clear, pragmatic advice to enable innovation and growth across the company.
🤝️ You’ll be a great fit if you bring a few of the below with you:
- Qualified solicitor in England and Wales, or equivalent legal qualification with right to practice
- 5+ years post-qualification experience (PQE), preferably with significant in-house experience at a law firm and technology company, ideally with TMT sector expertise
- Strong TMT background with demonstrable experience in commercial contract drafting and negotiation, including SaaS agreements, technology licensing, API agreements, and complex commercial technology arrangements
- Strong knowledge of EU and UK regulatory frameworks including EU Data Act, AI Act, DSA, Product Liability Act, Accessibility Act, Platform-to-Business Regulation, relevant consumer protection laws, competition laws, etc
- Experience advising on product development, IP matters, and technology-related legal issues in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in data privacy and AI-related legal matters (expert level not required, but basic proficiency preferred)
