Tickmill is looking to hire a Legal Counsel that will be helping with the support for the various incoming requests for the Group and handle day-to-day queries and tasks, while helping to organize and administrate paperwork & filing. What the job looks like?
The Legal Counsel will be responsible for:
- Support and lead assigned projects, ensuring milestones are met in collaboration with other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional group entities/departments.
- Support and lead assigned licensing project in various jurisdictions from time to time.
- Support in dispute resolution/legal proceedings, where necessary.
- Liaison with external authorities, legal counsel, service providers.
- Reviewing, negotiating and drafting of legal documentation, agreements.
- Obtaining relevant legal opinions from various jurisdictions.
- Provide legal support for the PSP/banking/finance team – agreements, forms, KYC of group companies.
- Support legal department in various projects, renewals of license/insurances.
- Handling fake sites, for reporting and removal.
- Maintaining company documents, and arranging for certifications.
- Complete and/or review of forms/documentation/agreements – related administrative tasks.
- Provide the timely advice on commercial, IP, data protection employment and other operational legal issues that may arise from time to time.
What will you need to be able to do the job?
- Law Degree is a must.
- Any CYSEC qualification is preferable, but not mandatory.
- Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience, ideally from the financial service industry.
- Excellent listening and writing skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Computer literate, good capacity of Microsoft office applications.
- High level of work ethic, honesty and integrity
