Job Description:

Legal counsels partner with Shell’s businesses and functions in the delivery of Shell’s Purpose and Strategy, preparing for future risks and opportunities and protecting Shell’s reputation and businesses from existing and emerging risks, balancing business value and risk and, where necessary, intervening to ensure compliance with Shell’s Business Principles and Code of Conduct.

• Provide legal advice and support for contracts and other legal documents for B2B and B2C Businesses
• Develop templates, legal processes and other legal work related procedures in the Businesses
• Identify and mitigate legal risks in contracts and highlight major commercial risks to stakeholders
• Fulfill mandatory trainings of the Company
• Ongoing monitoring of all law changes and their timely implementation in the respective processes, contracts and business scenarios
• Liaising closely with e.g. consumer protection authorities, Municipalities in the company’s registered seat and in various locations of the company operations
• Follow the Hungarioan changes in leglislation and provide compliance type of guidance for the Businesses and other Functions if needed

Desired skills and experience

• Master Degree of Law
• At least 5-8 years of experience gained in multinational legal team or law firm
• Experience in oil or retail company as legal support
• Efficient business partnering and communication skills to translate complex legal challenges into simple business language (to both Hungarian and international teams)
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proactive and flexible attitude to take over new interesting tasks
• Fluent English and Hungarian  (speaking & writing)
