This is a rare opportunity for a dynamic and pragmatic commercial lawyer with 2–3+ years’ PQE to join the legal team of a rapidly scaling business, providing legal support to Mable and its related companies in the Attain HealthTech Group.
Working as part of a small, collaborative team, you will partner closely with business functions to manage legal and regulatory matters and deliver practical, commercially focused solutions across a broad range of issues.

Key accountabilities

Provide commercially oriented advice and support to the business on a wide range of legal issues including IP, marketing, regulatory compliance, employment, privacy and data protection

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks for Attain products and services

Monitor legal and regulatory compliance for all areas that may impact Attain’s operations

Assist the business with projects to improve products and services

Contribute to an innovative culture with your legal expertise and initiative and assist in the development and implementation of legal strategies and initiatives

Skills, knowledge and experience

Bachelor of Laws degree and current Legal Practising Certificate, with 2+ years’ PQE gained in a law firm or in-house legal team, and a strong grounding in corporate and commercial law

Knowledge of Australian contract law and core commercial principles

Experience in a start-up or technology business is advantageous, but not essential
