Your contribution!

Reporting to the Chief Legal Officer, the Legal Advisor is involved in acquisition, project development and financing files in the field of renewable energy.

Your day-to-day!

  • Ensure the necessary follow-up of legal commitments before and after the closing of financing, acquisition and development projects.

  • Draft, negotiate and revise commercial contracts.

  • Coordinate and manage the legal aspects of setting up and monitoring community or financial partnerships, in close collaboration with the project development team.

  • Assisting and advising all business units on all legal aspects of the Corporation's activities.

  • Manage litigation files.

 

Your skills, our requirements!

  • Member of the Bar of Quebec or another Canadian province.

  • Member of the bar of an American state, an asset.

  • Relevant experience in financing, acquiring or developing renewable energy or infrastructure projects.

  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.

  • Autonomous, well-organized and detail-oriented.

  • High integrity and ethical working standards.

  • Proven ability to work as part of a team.

  • Bilingualism (French and English, written and spoken) is required to ensure collaboration with different stakeholders outside of Québec on a regular basis.

  • The position is based in the company's Longueuil (Quebec) headquarters.

  • This position is an P3 level.
