Description

Fraport Greece (FG), in the framework of the operation of the 14 Regional Airports, seeks for a "Legal Counsel" to join its Legal Department.

The position reports to the Head of Legal.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist the Technical and Procurement Departments with day-to-day activities related to technical projects, including drafting correspondence, addressing comments from bidders and/or successful contractors, negotiating contracts, and complying with internal policies and procedures.
  • Advise on legal and contractual matters during tenders as well as the performance of construction contracts and other technical projects of the 14 Regional Airports.
  • Review and draft technical contracts, design and consultancy agreements and NDAs.
  • Participate in specialist committees and provide advice on the matters discussed and the decisions taken.
  • Handle litigation and arbitration matters regarding technical projects.
  • Ensure compliance with internal rules and policies and with the terms and provisions of the Concession Agreement.
  • Handle correspondence and communications with third parties, including local and European authorities, stakeholders and external legal counsel.
  • Assist the company and its stakeholders in decision-making, review and drafting of documents required for internal approvals and decisions.
  • Review, re-draft and comment on relevant existing and proposed legislation as well as any amendments.


Requirements
  • Holds a bachelor’s degree in law and a master’s degree specializing in civil or business law.
  • Two to five (2-5) professional experience in a related environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language (oral and written)
  • IT skills (Microsoft Office, various legal platforms)
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the capacity to liaise professionally with external stakeholders and individuals in leadership or authoritative roles.
  • Ability to take informed decisions, work independently and be accountable for advice given and decisions taken.
  • Proactive, well-organized, with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
