In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting the growing complexity of global data protection and AI governance needs. Your contributions will accelerate product development and sales operations by providing practical and globally relevant privacy support. You will collaborate closely with various teams, ensuring that our operations are both efficient and compliant with the highest legal standards. Accountabilities
- Apply an AI-First approach using AI tools to enhance research quality and privacy assessment workflows.
- Demonstrate Change Agility by adapting quickly to evolving global privacy and AI regulations.
- Utilize First Principles Problem Solving to clarify complex privacy issues and provide structured recommendations.
- Leverage Data-Driven Decision Making in DPIAs and related assessments, grounded in evidence and regulatory expectations.
- Support the Privacy function with global privacy assessments, including DPIAs and other risk reviews.
- Review product features and data practices as part of privacy-by-design procedures.
- Draft and negotiate data processing agreements, privacy terms, and commercial contracts.
- Maintain and update privacy documentation and internal policies.
- Create and deliver internal training on privacy and AI governance.
- Support privacy audits and coordinate with external advisors.
- Monitor evolving privacy laws and share key insights with stakeholders.
Requirements
- Qualified lawyer (UK or EU) with at least 5 years of GDPR experience.
- Strong knowledge of EU/UK GDPR and familiarity with global privacy laws.
- Experience in drafting and negotiating data processing agreements.
- Proven ability to handle data breaches, regulatory notifications, and privacy audits.
- Excellent communication skills to simplify complex legal concepts.
- Understanding of AI technologies and their ethical implications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with privacy management systems such as OneTrust.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively.
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
