This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Remote Privacy & Product Counsel. In this dynamic role, you will play a key part in advising internal teams on product, privacy, IP, and AI-related matters. Your expertise will drive process improvements across various client companies, enabling quicker, more reliable decision-making through actionable data. You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineering, and legal teams to ensure compliance while advancing the company's goals and ethical standards in a rapidly evolving technological landscape.

Accountabilities

    • Advise product managers and teams on compliance and ethical AI standards.
    • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of privacy and technology contracts.
    • Support legal staff with licensing, privacy obligations, and regulatory compliance.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align business goals with legal regulations.
    • Track legal changes and provide guidance on product and service development.
    • Create/update legal templates and mentor team members on legal processes.

Requirements

    • Membership in the bar in at least one U.S. State.
    • 7+ years of experience in B2B SaaS legal teams.
    • 3+ years of expertise as privacy, AI, and/or product counsel.
    • Experience with risk assessments and data governance.
    • Curiosity and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Proficiency in G-Suite, Word, and other relevant software.
