Accountabilities
- Lead and support People Operations functions related to employment, including internal investigations, employee relations, and performance management.
- Prepare responses for EEOC and other relevant agencies.
- Negotiate, draft, and implement employment policies and guidelines.
- Design and conduct training for management and employees on employment law and practices.
- Conduct internal investigations and provide analysis on trends.
- Offer proactive legal advice on global labor and employment law issues.
- Manage complex and sensitive projects related to employment policies and compliance.
Requirements
- J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in at least one state bar.
- 7+ years of legal experience in employment law.
- Extensive knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
- Strong communication skills to convey complex legal concepts clearly.
- Developed business insight to anticipate risks and prioritize effectively.
- Experience with AI tools for enhanced legal efficiency is preferred.
