This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Ethics and Compliance Counsel. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in fostering a culture of integrity throughout the organization. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including HR, Legal, and Risk Management, you will design and enhance an ethics and compliance framework that supports the company's business objectives. This position demands exceptional problem-solving abilities and the capacity to build trust and credibility across various departments, ensuring that ethical standards are upheld at all levels.

Accountabilities

    • Implement a comprehensive ethics and compliance strategy that aligns with the company's business objectives and values
    • Lead the conflict of interest program and provide legal advice on ethical inquiries
    • Serve as the primary ethics advisor on compliance policies and procedures
    • Manage the Ethics Help Line and the Ethics Office mailbox
    • Prepare, coordinate, and conduct training on ethics-related topics
    • Oversee outside counsel as necessary

Requirements

    • Juris Doctor required and qualification to practice law in at least one jurisdiction
    • 5+ years of relevant experience in ethics and compliance or related legal roles
    • Experience supporting publicly traded companies preferred
    • Strong judgment and professionalism in managing sensitive matters
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
    • Ability to identify and mitigate legal and ethics issues
    • Effective collaboration skills in a large, matrixed organization
    • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
    • Strong decision-making capability and leadership mindset
    • Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance environments is a plus
