We’re looking for an experienced Senior Legal Counsel (fluent in Spanish and English) to join our Regional Legal Team in Paris on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

About the role
As a Senior Counsel, you’ll report to the Legal Director for Western & Southern Europe & LATAM and be supported by a Legal Counsel. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring compliance, mitigating risk, and driving strategic legal decisions across Bolt’s mobility services. Your primary focus will be Western & Southern Europe and LATAM — particularly Spain, Cyprus, and Paraguay — with flexibility to support other markets as needed.
Main Tasks & Responsbilites:
Advise the Business teams on legal matters across Ride-Hailing, Micromobility and Delivery verticals, ensuring compliance while enabling business innovation and growth. Work closely with Tax, Privacy, and Public Policy teams to address legal challenges and support business objectives. Draft and oversee terms of use and agreements, manage disputes, and mitigate risks within your assigned region. Create and refine legal templates, playbooks, and self-service tools, integrating AI and legal tech innovations. Stay updated on legal developments, coordinate external legal support and manage budgets. Independently handle complex legal matters, develop business acumen, and provide strategic risk assessments to inform market strategies.
About you:
You have a law degree and 7+ years of experience, preferably gained in a law firm or an international company (in-house experience preferred. You are fluent in Spanish and English, with strong legal drafting skills. You have expertise in consumer protection, contract law, and the gig economy. You are analytical, detail-oriented, and highly organized. You take initiative and drive matters forward to deliver consistent, high-quality results.
