Senior Legal Counsel (f/m/x)

• Act as a strategic legal business partner on financing and regulatory matters, supporting the expansion of captive finance activities into new products and jurisdictions.
• Collaborate closely with the Structured Finance team and external advisers on the negotiation, execution, and ongoing management of financing transactions (public and private ABS, static pool as well as warehouse facilities).
• Review, draft, and negotiate transaction documentation, ensuring alignment with internal policies and legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements.
• Develop and maintain a strong understanding of all financing documentation, and effectively communicate key obligations, risks, and limitations to internal stakeholders.
• Advise on regulatory frameworks applicable to financing activities, ensuring compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
• Support the monitoring and management of existing financing structures and related legal obligations.

• Law degree. 
• Fully qualified lawyer with at least 3 years of relevant professional experience in finance, structured finance, or capital markets (public and private ABS, static pool as well as warehouse facilities).
• Strong knowledge of financing transactions and legal documentation.
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally and communicate complex legal concepts clearly to non-legal stakeholders.
• Experience in multi-jurisdictional environments is highly desirable.
• Expertise in banking law and related regulatory matters is a strong advantage.
• Experience with English law ABS transactions and/or Italian Law 130 transactions is a plus.
• Leadership experience.
• Fluency in English and German is required; knowledge of another European language is a plus.
