Job Description
The Assistant General Counsel will support the Office of the General Counsel by managing conflicts of interest, analyzing conflict results, and drafting waivers, all while ensuring compliance with professional conduct rules. The role involves advising attorneys on ethics, risk management, and other legal matters related to the firm's operations. The successful candidate must demonstrate expertise in conflicts of interest and disqualification rules, possess effective communication skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should have at least three years of experience in legal ethics or conflicts analysis within law firms, along with a Juris Doctor degree. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
The position offers flexibility in location, with options to work in Century City, Chicago, Dallas, Del Mar, Houston, Los Angeles, New York, Orange County, San Diego (Downtown), San Francisco, Silicon Valley, or Washington DC, with occasional in-office presence and remote work flexibility. Occasional after-hours and weekend work may be necessary depending on workload. The salary range for this role is $175,000 to $230,000
