QualificationsJob Description:
- Filing documents with courts and administrative agencies.
- Drafting letters and memos to internal and external stakeholders.
- Drafting briefs and other court documents.
- Performing some administrative tasks.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
- J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
- Current license to practice law in the State of Ohio or be currently licensed in another state, with the acquisition of an Ohio license within 12 months after hire date.
- Excellent oral, written, and analytical skills, research and problem-solving skills, and change management skills.
- Strong leadership skills, outstanding interpersonal skills, including a collaborative style and personal diplomacy.
- Exhibits a high level of motivation, team orientation, professionalism, and trustworthiness, and places a high value on treating others with dignity and respect.
- Demonstrates proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience handling HR matters.
- 2 years of broad commercial law experience at a law firm or in-house.
