Position Summary
We are seeking a full-time junior legal counsel who is highly organized, proactive and self-motivated to support a broad range of legal, compliance, and governance functions across MediaCo and our station operations.
The counsel will work closely with the General Counsel and the VP of Business and Legal Affairs to support legal operations across MediaCo Holding Inc. and its affiliated entities. This role spans transactional work, litigation support, FCC and corporate compliance, board governance, contract management, and administrative responsibilities. It is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys working across multiple business units.
This role is an exceptional opportunity for a junior/mid-level attorney to gain exposure to a public media company, collaborating closely with senior legal professionals and various internal business leaders to ensure compliance, manage legal risks and support the business’s strategic objectives. Depending on your experience and the needs of the company, this role has potential to grow and expand both in terms of responsibilities and compensation.
