ENTER THE GAME 🎮

Within the Legal team, you will contribute to overseeing all legal matters, particularly contractual matters, related to Betclic’s business activities.

YOUR ROLE WITHIN BETCLIC 🔥

In this role, your main missions will be to:

  • Review, draft, and negotiate all types of contracts (commercial agreements, partnerships, IT contracts — SaaS, cloud, licenses — service agreements, etc.) and legal documents related to the company’s operational activities;
  • Ensure contract monitoring and execution in close collaboration with the Group’s operational departments (Sport / Gaming / Payment / Customer Experience / IT, etc.) and central functions (Finance, HR, General Management);
  • Provide legal support for Group projects and advise internal teams on any legal matters;
  • Contribute to the management of the Group’s digital projects;
  • Monitor legislative and regulatory developments applicable to the Group’s activities (obligations, commercial and economic law, digital regulation, etc.);
  • Manage and work closely with external counsel on any pre-litigation matters;
  • Contribute to training and raising awareness among operational teams and central functions regarding the legal and regulatory constraints related to our activities.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? 🔍

We are looking for passionate and curious professionals who bring kindness and a touch of enthusiasm!

  • With an advanced legal degree (Master’s degree, second year), you specialize in business law/contract law
  • You have at least 3 years of experience in an international environment, preferably in a digital or IT context
  • International experience (particularly an LL.M.) would be appreciated
  • You have a strong command of contract and commercial law and possess contractual negotiation expertise across various types of agreements.
  • You also have significant expertise in intellectual property, IT contracts, digital law, GDPR, and Artificial Intelligence
  • You have a strong interest in new technologies and are familiar with project management and negotiation methods
  • You are proficient with office and IT tools, demonstrate method, analytical and synthesis skills, contractual and organizational rigor, and maintain strict confidentiality
  • You are recognized for your communication skills, interpersonal ease, collaborative mindset, flexibility, and business-oriented approach
  • Finally, you are fluent in French and English, both written and spoken

WHAT ARE THE RECRUITMENT STEPS? 📝

  • If your application is shortlisted, Elodie will contact you within a week for an initial HR screening (30 minutes). Then, you will complete the AssessFirst test (personality, motivation and cognitive reasoning).
  • Next, you will meet Audrey – Head of Legal Contracts, followed by Sarah - General Counsel
  • Finally, Elodie will conduct a final HR interview to review your AssessFirst results together

The recruitment process usually takes between 4 to 6 weeks to ensure an optimal experience for you.
