What You Will Be Doing
- Handle both litigation and non-litigation employment law matters
- Collaborate with partners on case strategy and execution
- Manage single-plaintiff and complex class/collective action cases

Lead defense-side litigation efforts, including:
- Discovery strategy and execution
- Taking and defending depositions (including plaintiffs)
- Drafting motions (including dispositive motions)
- Court appearances
- Work with and manage expert witnesses
- Engage in settlement negotiations, mediation, and conferences
- Prepare cases for trial and arbitration

Independently manage full lifecycle of litigation, including:
- Opposing class certification
- Motion practice
- Trial preparation and management
Experience You Will Need
- 8+ years of employment/labor litigation experience (California)
- Strong preference for management-side (defense) experience

Proven experience handling:
- Class actions / PAGA matters (preferred)
- Complex litigation from start to finish
- Ability to independently manage cases with minimal supervision

Skill Matrix
Must-Have
- 8+ years employment litigation experience (California)
- Licensed and in good standing with California Bar
- Strong litigation skills (discovery, motions, depositions, trial prep)
- Experience managing cases independently
- Excellent legal writing and analytical skills

- Management-side (employer defense) background

Education
- Juris Doctor (JD)
- Active license to practice law in California (required)
