Handle both litigation and non-litigation employment law matters
Collaborate with partners on case strategy and execution
Manage single-plaintiff and complex class/collective action cases
Lead defense-side litigation efforts, including:
- Discovery strategy and execution
- Taking and defending depositions (including plaintiffs)
- Drafting motions (including dispositive motions)
- Court appearances
Work with and manage expert witnesses
Engage in settlement negotiations, mediation, and conferences
Prepare cases for trial and arbitration
Independently manage full lifecycle of litigation, including:
- Opposing class certification
- Motion practice
- Trial preparation and management

8+ years of employment/labor litigation experience (California)
Strong preference for management-side (defense) experience
Proven experience handling:
- Class actions / PAGA matters (preferred)
- Complex litigation from start to finish
Ability to independently manage cases with minimal supervision
Strong exposure to:
- Discovery
- Depositions
- Motion practice
- Trial preparation
