The Wyoming Public Service Commission seeks a qualified attorney to serve as a member of its legal counsel team. The Commission is deeply involved in the fast-paced and quickly evolving issues related to various energy generation resources, energy storage, and transmission at a time when the public utility industry is experiencing significantly increasing demand from industrial, data center, and blockchain customers. The Commission directly participates in the “all of the above approach” to energy generation, including carbon capture, utilization, and storage, advanced nuclear development, and other innovative solutions to growing energy consumption. As part of the legal counsel team, the successful candidate will provide advice to Commissioners and Commission Technical Staff on issues related to state and federal public utility regulation. This position manages contested case proceedings, including the investigation of utility applications, and conducts public hearings as an administrative hearing officer in accordance with the Wyoming Administrative Procedure Act.
